The commercial is definitely a fake one. Using “Visual Effects”, such
commercials are done. The effects are given in such a way that they
look realistic.
Method Studios created this commercial for Coca Cola. Here is the url

commercial. the visual effects could be the logo and effects at the
end of the commercial. nowhere on that page does it say that its
actually "faked," as far as the ball hits the ground.

I called up "Method Studios" and talked to Rich. Since he was not
involved in that commercial, he forwarded the call to Mark Tobin, who
was the producer for this particular commercial. Unfortunately, he was

Clarification of Answer by netcrazy-ga on 24 Jun 2002 14:06 PDT Hi,
Finally I got hold of Mark Tobin, producer of that commercial, and
according to him, the shot was a Real one. He got that tape from
someone but he did say that it was a real shot. He did some color
editing and other graphics thing, but no changes were made to the
actual film.
