Six teenagers board a small boat and head out for the weekend to Catalina Island. They party, oblivious to the vast sea and building swells. Suddenly, tragedy strikes, hurling the teens into blind panic. They try to head home but the engine won't start. Strange and inexplicable events follow, each increasingly more terrifying. Lost at sea, with no way to communicate their plight, the teens struggle to survive an unseen enemy, only to be overcome by a pernicious evil at every turn. One by one, each must face the terror of the one thing he fears most in the world, and each must answer to a fate of his own making.

I thought I should watch it after I posted it, I'm about 60 minutes in, its not a total waste.
In particular, you MUST watch from around min 50-52
really happy that this is not watchable outside the USA.
on another note, i feel like we should label or tag posts, i think(puppy) clancy, brian is the only one to do it, but makes it easier to find old azz poztz
let me know if its worth it once youre done...50-52 was pretty weird
